We feed our dogs a homemade Raw Diet and encourage all our puppy buyers to also feed a balanced Raw diet. Our blends are species & biologically appropriate; high moisture, high protein, low carb (no grains), include secreting organ, liver & a vitamin and mineral supplement recommended by holistic veterinarian Dr Karen Becker. Dr Becker has several YouTube videos on a more natural & unprocessed diet. Check them out!

Yep - thanks to Jen's input (and those videos!) we are now feeding our pup 100% raw! The transition was easy (but we did follow all the suggestions to transition safely!) and you should see his coat - you almost need sunglasses it is sooooo SHINY! Bo used to be an incredibly picky eater - we honestly thought he just did not care much about food - ! - but he now comes and lets me know if I am a few minutes behind on his feeding schedule! We cannot recommend a raw diet strongly enough (and, this is coming from 2 veggie eaters!!).

I recently saw a post on a Vizsla Facebook group about a dog's serious skin/derm issues. It looked like this poor pup had ring worm all over her body and was in pain. After talking with Jen about feeding raw, I had to wonder if it could be linked to what the dog was eating. I'm reading and becoming more informed about the benefits of a raw diet! Leave a Reply. |
